Meet the Board

At the 2026 Fencing Contractors Association AGM, held in Nelson in August, five people stood for five vacancies, so no vote was required. The Board and operations team were sad to farewell Donna Upton and Ben Fisher. We thank them both for their time and contribution to FCANZ and wish them well for the future.

Following the AGM, Phil Cornelius was re-appointed as President and Burne Maxted stepped up to take on the Treasurer role. As part of the Board’s succession planning, Janine graciously stepped aside as Vice President, allowing Ruben Connelly to take on the role and shadow Phil, with a view to potentially stepping into the President role at the next AGM. We thank Janine for her excellent work as Vice President and are delighted that she will continue as a valued member of the Board.
